If you also want to research this the command is `unshare`It's terrible, namespaces on Linux are terrible, good luck

@abloo If you're doing IT in house and are part of a team, the expectations are lower than you'd think. Being smarter than the av-er-age bear with computers and problem solving are all you need.

@penny oh that’s so weird. Everything in / is owned by nobody, so even though you’re root, you can’t leak out and touch /fooI’ve never really looked into namespaces; only know they’re used by containers. I assumed they were like chroots, but I guess the chroot part is entirely different.

@meeper it feels impossible, there's no way to deal with all the magic authentication checks all over the place.It's the very problem Berkeley introduced to UNIX, privileged system calls for mechanisms instead of files with file permissions
