We must always make the professionals feel comfortable. 🙄

@MandyJane that's something I noticed too, that these "pro sex work" people always talk about THEIR feelings, but don't give a fuck about anyone who has been directly or indirectly hurt by the porn industry. That's why I always raise an eyebrow when a "sex worker" screams "SO YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT MY EMPOWERED FEELINGS??? SHAME ON YOU". Because these people never gave me anything (besides enabling pornsick dudes lmao) , so I never understood why they expect me, or any other woman for that matter , to support them. The pro sex work crowd has a bully mentality/entitlement. They hurt others, yet expect victims to love them.

@NeonPeach @MandyJane I always go after those fuckers, posting links to prostitutes twitter accounts or relaying some of their stories. Want to call me a SWERF? I'm the only one standing up for prostituted women while they are enabling their abusers and calling it "choice.'

@senryu @NeonPeach The people who insist on calling it "sex work" want it sanitized so they don't have to think about the women who don't want to be there. They believe the "Pretty Woman" fantasy is real, or they pretend it's real.

@MandyJane @senryu @NeonPeach I also think they like the way it sounds sorta Marxist, to people who have never read any actual Marx or Engels that is.

@kathleenbee @MandyJane @NeonPeach @senryu I think also for many men it's their dream come true that strange women would pay they for sex, so they project that onto women. So many argue that women "choose" to be prostituted and it's no different than using your body in so many ways. Just lies.

@kathleenbee @MandyJane @senryu that's true. That's why there are Marxists like Silvia Frederici who see prostitution as "work" (you know the type who says "all work is exploitative and abusive per default so prostitution is not worse than any other job") and nothing else. The concept of "work" itself has become meaningless nowadays. Any type of physical effort can be considered to be work, according to our modern "pro sex work" libertarian activists.Men just need to spend one dollar whenever they abuse women and voilà! It's not abuse anymore, it's work! It helps the economy! /sarcasm /

@MandyJane @senryu @NeonPeach As long as they can pretend "those women" chose it, they can pretend they're safe, that they could never become "those women," because they wouldn't "choose" that.
