       @redwhitebluedude An important takeaway (besides the obvious future oversupply) from that article is that TSMC is expanding in the US. So, depending on what China decides to do with Taiwan, TSMC should be able survive in the US.

So, it would be wrong for me to comment on military ability.I have noticed others on this forum discussing the possibility that, in the event of an invasion, China would control TSMC. Getting their hands on TSMC, one of the largest semiconductor manufacturers in the world, would be a huge coup for China.1/
