@karnage @Timmerax I moved to MA (for a job). It's better but is still run by the Left. Next spring, I'll retire and move south.

@Dawnz Ever since Fauci's emails have been made public, you never see him testifying before Congress and he only goes on friendly media interviews.

@JM @Arcalian Or at least until the mid-term elections so that they can enforce mail-in balloting.

@JM I don't believe you can eliminate fraud when you have mail-in balloting.

@Debradelai @timr @KMGGaryde It's all about the clicks with those sites. They're only goal is to rake in the AD money.

@ThomasWic While it looks more and more like China will move on Taiwan, I'm still surprised at their motives. When you list the pros and cons of such a move, China comes out as the loser. Yes, they get a world class semiconductor foundry in TSMC and all the intellectual property from Western countries that exists in that facility. But, they immediately become the enemy of the Western world. That's a lot of customers of their products that will go away.

@umad80 I'm wondering what would lead Apple to take this step. How do they benefit? Are they being compelled? Or it is one of those virtue signaling events that are so common in the Leftist community?Whatever it is, I think it's a big mistake.

@redwhitebluedude An important takeaway (besides the obvious future oversupply) from that article is that TSMC is expanding in the US. So, depending on what China decides to do with Taiwan, TSMC should be able survive in the US.

@redwhitebluedude I'm not a military expert. So, it would be wrong for me to comment on military ability.I have noticed others on this forum discussing the possibility that, in the event of an invasion, China would control TSMC. Getting their hands on TSMC, one of the largest semiconductor manufacturers in the world, would be a huge coup for China.1/
