       @chartier why can’t we do both? Buy books from both I mean. I don’t want to colonise the moon. I’d hate it on the moon. Unless we get cool uniforms like in Space 1999, then count me back in.

       @kevin I do regularly buy books from my local book shop which is amazingly just around the corner however they are very expensive and only carry a small range of books.

       @Morphchic @kevin I am always able to ask my own book store and they can get pretty much anything in. I'm willing and able to pay a little more. Remember though, if Amazon is the sole provider one day, there's nothing to guarantee they'll charge a fair price... Some items are already over-priced, people are just so sucked in they don't realize

       @chartier I personally like, "Buy books from people who want to sell books, not from those who couldn't care less about you and your little humble book." but I appreciate that this is a real-world example :)
