Crap. My attempt to turn the Word document into an HTML page with just tables and input fields failed. It just looks... like a webpage. My boss told me to look into LibreOffice Writer's forms, but gosh it's hard to know what's going on and where I am in LibreOffice. I don't know. Does anyone have any ideas? Whatever is made can't look like a webpage but an actual form, and should be able to be edited easily by someone that isn't technical.#work #html #forms #office

@nergal Yes, I’m blind. I don’t think I know what X-forms is. We just have this stupid Word Document that we have to fill out when we miss a time clocking in and at work and Orca doesn’t like editable tables in LO and Google Docs.

@devinprateri am thinking, if you employed tex, you could make forms. https://nfb.org//images/nfb/publications/fr/fr31/2/fr310212.htm

@nergal Mmm, I'd rather the Latex be the form if possible, and the PDF be the output. After all, my boss has the sign the PDF and send it off anyway.

@devinprateras i understand it, latex generates a document in various formats. one format is html. never heard of forms existing as latex.

@devinprateranything that disappears when the power goes during broad daylight is softcopy.
