India so far fully vaccinated only 9.7% & partially vaccinated 22.7% of its total population.If we are taking our 94 crores 18 plus adult population, the above figures will be 13.3% and 33.1% respectively.Statewise progress can be easily comprehended from this map.

The States who have fully vaccinated more than 20% of their population are given in GREEN.While the worst performing States with less than 5% fully vaccinated are given in PINK

The highlighted cells in the table accompanying the map shows the States which are performing below national average as far as vaccination is concerned.Unless India Govt makes Herculean efforts to vaccinate the population there, we are facing a great risk against 3rd wave.

As an example in your home, if you have 10 members.Then 2 got both doses, fully vaccinated.5 got a single dose, partially vaccinated.3 not yet vaccinated.So they can be grouped as:2 are fully vaccinated 5 are partially vaccinated

But Government of India and all State Government instead of saying:7 got first dose 2 got second doseSo this first dose includes the one who got second dose too!IMHO, rather than boosting numbers, this doesn't represent real picture!

What is our goal?Fully vaccinate our population!That only give them reasonable protection against the delta variant. So stop using first dose & second dose. Instead talk about fully vaccinated & partially vaccinated!END.
