As an example in your home, if you have 10 members.Then 2 got both doses, fully vaccinated.5 got a single dose, partially vaccinated.3 not yet vaccinated.So they can be grouped as:2 are fully vaccinated 5 are partially vaccinated

But Government of India and all State Government instead of saying:7 got first dose 2 got second doseSo this first dose includes the one who got second dose too!IMHO, rather than boosting numbers, this doesn't represent real picture!

What is our goal?Fully vaccinate our population!That only give them reasonable protection against the delta variant. So stop using first dose & second dose. Instead talk about fully vaccinated & partially vaccinated!END.

Kakki reservoir water will be started releasing at a moderate amount of 100 cumecs today 11 am onwards, at present the inflow in the river downstream is 1200 cumecs

We will release water from other major reservoirs only after giving enough warning to the people after observing all formalities as per Disaster Management Act. All State machinery on its highest alert since 10th as the situation is volatile

As no more alert for Idukki and Pathanamthitta, the following modifications will be done Kakki reservoirGate no.2 and Gate 3, lowered to 30cm at 1PM.The total spill from 1PM, will be 48cumecs from existing 96 cumecs

Idukki Spill is now reduced to 40 cumecs from present 100 cumecs considering the downgrade of alert. Instead of 3 shutters at 35 cms each, now single shutter at 45 cm.Idamalayar and Pamba reservoirs will be completely closed.

Mullaperiyar reservoir at 137.20 ft and the inflow is getting stabilized and the reservoir is almost steady since 5am. But the weather is in a flux that is little bit of concern considering the historical floods of this basin.
