       As unfortunately frame.work laptops are unlikely to be available in this region until well into next year and I have to buy a laptop for my niece for the start of her university term, I'm looking at refurbished Thinkpads (as I've noticed them to be very popular here) but I've never used one so what models might be worth checking out?It should be reasonably light and able to handle windows 10, office stuff, browsing, streaming etc. with decent battery life.        @jk @norm I got a used ThinkPad X260 that works pretty well.   Was able to upgrade it from a SATA SSD to M.2 without much fuss.
