       @zigpress There are already dozens of devices that run Mobian; PostmarketOS; Ubuntu Touch; /e/ OS; Manjaro Arm; LineageOS; Sailfish OS; and many more.

       @PublicNuisance Consumer-grade means pre-installed at purchase, with a viable app store system./e/ doesn't count since you need a cloud account.The only reasonably-priced option is the Volla phone, and that's overpriced for the hardware that's used.

       @zigpress I use /e/ without any cloud account. You can buy devices with Ubuntu Touch and /e/ preinstalled. At the end of the day people aren't stuck on iOS or Android for any other reason than they choose to be. I wanted off so I got off. Many say they want off but come up with reason after reason why they must stay. Either privacy and security is your main goal or it isn't.
