       Thinking of leaving the Fediverse.Not because of the latest bullshit or anything, but because of the fact this protocol isn't really much more privacy friendly in my eyes. No way, at least here in Mastodon, to fully have a private account. No way to fully get rid of bots that scramble every piece of public (thus all toots) information.Also because I wanna get rid of social (ahem, dissocial) media for good.Just thinking. Not acting yet.

       @whacker There's no "social" platform that can offer otherwise I guess :blobcatgiggle: If you want privacy you need something like Matrix, something closed and not public like Twitter, FB, Insta, Masto, Plero, etc :flan_laugh: :Pooh_hearts: You can however "lock" you account and make toot default "followers only" that way you are private :)

       @whacker Perhaps a solution would be to delete your current account and make a new one, only posting in followers-only mode and being very selective in who you let follow you?
