@nd Wow, that's a good list! I wish I could claim I've read that many books since 2017. Maybe since 2010. Probably not though. I used to read a bunch, but then I decided to have children.

@nd I've been thinking of trying to use more audio books. I walk quite a bit, and spend a lot of time in the car. Both times that I'm not doing anything that's really taxing mentally, but literally hours of time a week. Seems like it would be a perfect opportunity. I've tried doing podcasts during those times, but I can never seem to get into it. Who do you use for your audiobooks?

@mike I use Audible, but once I get myself an actual library card, I'll use Libby (which will get me the books free)

@nd Libby is a good idea. We already have a library card, so I just fired it up. Was able to download the book we're reading for my work book club even. Maybe this time around I won't be staying up all night the night before trying to get the reading done!

@mike I don’t know if libby has the option to change reading speeds also, but I never listen at regular speed, always at least 1.5x!

@nd Looks like with the "Fine Tune" option, you can slow down to .6, or speed up to 3x. I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick to normal speed, but it's nice to have the option.

@nd Not contempt really, just his methods are not methods I'd go with. He literally still has a big book of CDs in his car. Books of CDs for audio books, that kind of thing. I can't see myself toting around that much junk just to listen to audio books. It's fine for him, but if that's what it took to listen to audio books, I wouldn't do it.
