       I find it pretty interesting when women advocate for female separatism from males, and moids always show up with a braindead take like “enjoy wasting your child bearing years and dying sad and alone, old cat lady.” Yeah, really proving we as women should be with such empathetic creatures as men. Many women who aren’t separatist are still child-free, so this argument ignores them. Because at it’s core, it’s really about men not wanting women to leave them to rot. Interesting how they think women can’t have children without men. We can. I can go to a sperm bank right now. Women can have children without men, but men can’t do the same. Not really. Any person who views children as a means to cure one’s loneliness should stay away from children anyway. I think that’s the difference between men and women (broadly speaking) as parents. Women view it as gifting life to someone else, we wish success and a full life for our offspring. We see them as separate people from ourselves, again broadly speaking. But men don’t. They see children as a way to enhance their own lives, or to selfishly ensure the continuance of their name through an heir (it’s an ego thing in that case, not a desire to see another succeed in life). How many times have we seen men only take an active role in their kid’s lives when they can start to play ball and stuff? How many men are happy to change a child’s diaper because that means ensuring the health and comfort of the child? There are some, I’m sure, but mainly men make the mothers perform these tasks. They wait until the child is old enough to fulfill their role as life-enhancers to really start to take interest in the kids lives.
