       @borgesius Martijn wasn't actually a political party, it was an association instead, you may be thinking about the PNVD as the political party.

       @sandminerva @Zia @borgesius The video details it, but allegedly for possession of child pornography (a charge Nelson disputes on the ground that he only possessed child nudity and model pictures, both of which are not illegal in the Netherlands, I believe) and for a charge similar to that Thomas O'Carroll got in Britain for "conspiring to corrupt public morals" for seeking to revive the PNVD (a pedopartij, paedophile political party in the Netherlands).

       @sandminerva @Zia Similar tactics were used back then to silence paedophile liberation organisations.  This is sadly not a new thing.  There is an objective historical play in child porn laws being used as tools to silence political opponents, and this all first started by means to attack the then gay liberation efforts which held sympathetic ties with paedophiles as the oppressed minority they also are.
