       @polarisera Correlation is not causation, and there isn't even a correlation. The rates of heart inflammation haven't been higher than expected in the general population regardless of vaccination. They are just letting doctors know so they can track it and confirm there is no additional risk. Vaccines are held to a much higher standard than other drugs & treatments because they are in a special legal class.

       @greenpunk @polarisera These aren't vaccines and the testing isn't complete. We're in the middle of a giant experiment which no one is keeping track of carefully enough, especially when they keep changing the parameters. (Recently they changed how many times the PCR test is cycled when testing those who've been jabbed.)Why shill for Big Pharma when it comes to "vaccines", I mean untested GMO therapy for the common cold, but against it when it comes to transmedicalization? Seems like neither one is needed for optimal health and could cause a lot of problems down the line.Kids are the least likely to be affected by the coof so why do they need this experimental medicine?

       @LaylaAlexandrovna @polarisera You suggest that being pro-vaccines is incompatible with being gender critical and against medical experimentation on kids, but the common denominator is that I understand science and how data can and can't be manipulated.The data show that vaccines reduce morbidity and mortality way more than they increase it, while the data on medicalizing gender dysphoria show that it actually increases the duration and severity in addition to serious and permanent damage to the endocrine, reproductive, and skeletal systems.We often say "Men are not women. Biology is real." But biology don't suddenly stop being real because the data shows that vaccines save lives and prevent disability. If you can't question your own assumptions your position is not defensible. I often question whether I am being reasonable in my gender critical assertions and find my position well supported by data and an understanding of history, sociology, and feminism as well as biology.I don't shame people for being anti-vaxx. I don't think anti-vaxxers are stupid or crazy. I know that there are rampant abuses in medicine that make trusting the medical establish more difficult, especially for minorities and females (ex. obstetric violence and just like...all of psychiatry). But it is important to understand the difference between correlation and causation just in general as it is one of the most common ways to twist the facts.Covid-19 is NOT "the common cold" and has left people with debilitating side effects, if they were lucky enough to survive. Even if you don't trust vaccines, please be safe and try not to get sick yourself or infect others.

And I agree that anti-vaxxers may not be stupid or crazy. But they are not critical nor analytical thinkers who can evaluate data for reliability and/or validity of extrapolation. In many circumstances these characteristics don't present a risk to others, but that's not the case in regards to public health.
