Where was it written that doing the right thing is supposed to be easy?It's usually hard as hell.Especially when everybody else is crapping out.But I approach it as though I have no choice. Try to not be obsolete. Poor Nancy Pfister was obsolete. Booze, drugs, sex, and traveling don't do anything except ruin your health.She was totally alone when she died, but she was also a psychological catastrophe who had zero judgement.Been there, done that.It's still entirely possible that I'll set myself up for yet another giant ripoff, but it's a risk I'm willing to take in terms of publishing.Nothing else.

@ThomasWic I lived in Aspen late 70's and still have odd connections to this day. Art Pfister was her dad, and i photographed him once for a story about how to leave money to your children. The coolest most real down to earth wealthy person I ever met or photographed.Aspen is filled with tons of people like Nancy. Drugs, liquor, get on a jet fly to Maui.
