@tim ok... ZCash is not private by default, it's slower and more complicated to use... and it doesn't resists to ASICS... IMHO we should avoid ZCash. @matt

You choose to send either transparently, like Bitcoin, or shielded with encryption.I'm a fan of both #Monero and #Zcash. They don't need to battle it out. Both can exist. @matt the fact to choose between public or private is a problem I think. Users may "forget" to activate it or to not understand the impact. But it's actually the non resistance on ASICS that is, for me, something that should says to people to not use it. ASICS farms is a real problem for environment. Cryptocurrency should resists to this. I'm not against ZCash, I only say that there is too many bad sides for me.@tim

@matt @metal3d @tim only 6% of the #Zcash userbase even use Shielded (or private) addresses, so it really should be renamed to #Tcash.Let's not also forget that they actively work with #LawEnforcement and #ChainAnalysis companies, unless you're into that type of stuff.

@metal3d @myhushteam @tim I don't know if that number is correct, but its not really surprising since 90% or more of exchanges don't support sending to z-addresses.But, things are changing. 🤷 It's fine that you don't really believe in other projects than your fave / the one you work on, but's not a good look to be shitting on other crypto projects. 💩

@matt @metal3d @tim I agree that we want many #PrivacyCoins, but ANYTHING with non-mandatory privacy has NO #privacy at all.If you want to work on #Zcash then just be aware that you are actively helping #LawEnforcement & #BlockchainAnalysis companies like #Chainalysis work against the userbase.

I'm going to work on a Zcash wallet that's shielded as default. Neither are evil. Both of which I'm doing to put food on the table and save for a house for my family. @matt @metal3d If I was totally unaware that a project I worked on was working with #evilness (including the #police), then I would hope someone would shed some much needed light on that for me, but you don't seem to appreciate the #truth. The fact that you consider these companies to be #ethical shows me that you will never see the real truth.
