       @watch4thedrop @redwhitebluedude @hnijohnmiller nice, yours were probably in much better shape than ours.  We gut everything and rebuild in most of the houses.  Hoarder houses and all.  I thought about getting a RE license but decided against it for now because we really have a great Realtor and we have never had a problem with a tenant.

       @watch4thedrop @redwhitebluedude @hnijohnmiller Well, we were getting 1% rent of the value of the house, but the housing prices are just insane now and haven't kept up with rents.  So one house is worth $350k and we only get $2300/mo in rent.  Thought about selling one of the more expensive houses and buying 2 cheaper ones, but again, prices are crazy now, even before prices.

       @EarlThePearls @watch4thedrop @redwhitebluedude @hnijohnmiller Yes, we are planning to sell the HVAC business and retire in a few years.  Since my husband is in and out of people's houses all day, it's hard to hide things from him.  He sees multiple people on his route that thought they had enough to retire and one of them got sick with the big C.  Unfortunately, it's hard to estimate retirement when one illness can wipe it all out.
