       I do *not* like typing on linear switches D:(tried to test whether maybe lowering spring weight for a bit would allow me to go faster... buuuuut I go slower because I don't have the needed feedback from tactile switches....

       @finlaydag33k Tactile is better for typing. Linear is more suited for gaming where you have to hold keys for longer periods of time or repeatably press the same key over and over. Also in quiet environments linears are probably better.

       @SuperDicq I know, though linear isn't exactly suited better for gaming because you have to hold the keys for longer periods of time, mainly for, like you said, pressing it over and over because you don't have to press through the bump all the time.If holding it is a concern, you can still springswap it (I ordered some springs to lower the weight of my Zilents V2 to 50g as opposed to 62g).In quiet environments, the general acoustics of the keyboard case and caps matter more than tactility.

       @finlaydag33k I’m currently in the process of attempting to make the most silent mechanical keyboard possible. I ordered a set off Gazzew Bobagums. It’s gonna be one of those custom built split PCBs so I still gotta engineer a nice case with quiet acoustics as well.
