I can't find any evidence that Szakáts patented ANYTHING to do with flamethrowers or anything else he's credited with inventing...EXCEPT for ammunition and ONE automatic cannon.Richard Fiedler's last flamethrower was the Kleif M1920, which replaced the internal steel propellant sphere with a rubber bag that was removed and checked during maintenance.The weapon also had a self-closing trigger valve on the lance so that the lance operator couldn't accidentally spray his own men if killed.

In fact, the reason I joined QV back then was to know when you are finally safe in your new Vegas house! Myself I feel more educated by Thomas and many others here at Qv than I ever was in the public education system. By the way you're on that list too.
