       @lezpaulguitars @Terfette If anything, I think that maybe my mom trying to constantly set me up with a boy would have gotten me to not date for longer. Then we could watch some sort of movie or TV shows that shows how men are scum bags.Sometimes kids just want to rebel.

       @lezpaulguitars @BCLADY @Terfette I remember when I told her too - a guy she liked was over our house and his mom came to pick him up and she was freaking out because she thought I wasn’t home - my car was getting repaired. Before I could get into the living room she was calling my daughter a slut (among other things) and then laid into me for being a shitty parent. After I got her out of my house I told my daughter that as sad as it was that his mom was deeply troubled, he was no longer allowed at the house because no one is worth letting that amount of chaos into our lives. Plus a lot of “you are not therapy for a sad/mad/confused boy.”
