I am NOT a fan of romance films, but I DID enjoy watching Harrison Ford as the pilot Quinn in Six Days Seven Nights Speaking of romance, he said, "It's an island, babe. @2020_DJT @Rooibos @dianalward I married a poor country girl, just one generation from the rice fields and just as poor as everyone in her village. My people. From the same dirt I came from. And she brought a lot of happiness with her. We're SUCH cheap dates, SO easy to please, SO easily satisfied. And what we brought with us is SO easily multiplied. Pity those with a high bar for happiness, because they confused it with things that HELP IT, but don't actually PRODUCE IT.

@StevenDouglas @Rooibos @dianalward I don't strive for happiness. For me, happiness is fleeting. I strive for contentment. That is something I bring with me. Being able to sleep at night, look in the mirror, and feeling calm and alright with my world are very important to me. Happiness is icing on the cake, but it's a cake I can eat without the icing.

The moon reflect light - on one side only, and poorly.If the light goes out can people still see by the light you generate, however pale? Then you're not a moon. You're a sun. Essentially whenever I feel happy/good I stop and take it in for 20-30 sec. good cup of coffee, sunrise, accomplished a task, etc. Try it. If you’re used to rushing through life 20-30 sec can seem like a very long time. Taking In The Good helped me through a challenging time in my life. I made the choice and never looked back.

@Jaime Same here J. Steven brings up some good perspectives on life. I have been rich and I have been poor and I am happy during both because my BEINGNESS is Happy. Its my soul coming through into the physical and it is my focus no matter what life throws at me. I know plenty of people like this and they are my tribe. Today, I was able to pull a branch that I needed to move out from under a fallen tree. It would not budge, but I figured it out with patience and endurance. THAT made me happy!
