I just thought this was funny. It wouldnt work for someone like me, who is disabled in one arm and has arthritis in the other hand, but I guess an able bodied woman could do it. https://youtu.be/88LFe5TnEig

@ArtistBristol And speaking of arthritis, have you noticed if yours gets worse in the winter time?

@B_Reasonable I find it gets worse with ANY change in the weather ( and because our weather in the UK is changeable all the time, it's very rare to have a 'good day'). There's lots of studies been done on this, and still lots of controversy. The best time with my arthritis was when I was exercising regularly, which is over a year ago now, before the pandemic. So you're in a spiral of "it's cold and miserable outside/ I don't feel like going for a walk/my joints hurt/ we're in Lockdown anyway". Then the lack of activity has knock on effects on everything else - diabetes control, heart, muscle atrophy, weight gain, etc etc.https://www.healthspan.co.uk/advice/does-cold-weather-make-joint-pain-worse

@ArtistBristol That article, thanks for posting it by the way, was just as inconclusive as the ones I’ve already read. You’d think medical science could figure this out. I have arthritis in one of my ankles. I’m perfectly fine most of the year and then the winter months have me feeling crippled. Everything I’ve read about it pretty much says there’s no connection between arthritis and weather and it’s all in your head. Or maybe, maybe, and maybe it has something to do with barometric pressure. But no real information. Oh well.

@B_Reasonable Yeh, that article I grabbed at random, there are loads like it out there. Arthritis is so personal, I guess no one wants to commit to one explanation.
