Gortney is an attack pilot, and he also commanded NORAD.He took a lot of steps to safeguard continental US military installations against terrorist attack.I have no doubt that Obama knew nothing about the clandestine rehearsals that took place in the summer of 2015.After all, Obama had given his Unified Combatant Commanders broad authority to do things like that, so Gortney used his powers.This was after Benghazi, remember.That was a turning point for the military.

This guy is supposedly a Syrian Arab.He didn't like the camera crew, so he positioned three other men only by eye contact.Damnedest thing I've ever seen. All four knew exactly what to do and where to stand.The murderous-looking kid sauntered up and said one word to the guy on the right, and he caught the eyes of the other two.The four were guarding a REAL Syrian Arab, who they notified of impending action by nudging him.The video suddenly cut off.

@timr I think Trump’s tweet on Jan 6 that Pence didn’t have the courage needed to send the votes back to the states is playing a role. I remember being puzzled by it when it was published bc Pence had allowed the objections and debate. So we were going to see the evidence and it was unclear still what the end result would be. The two are mortal enemies who have been bound in a Faustian bargain since the 60's. Pelosi was preoccupied with stifling a "populist" revolt during the primaries (see Engel vs Bowman in NY).BLM emerged under Obama and was antithetical to his objectives.
