Great, port 25 is blocked outbound by my ISP (not surprised)Signal-cli requires phone number for sign up and I can't have more than one mobile device/cli app registered.tg is not building on my system and I'd like to get notifications whenever the things I want notifications for finish. Telegram won't give me notifications for messages sent to myself.I guess I'll have to go with gotify per @karmanyaahm's suggestion.

I mean, I could also use something like mailgun, but are there any other services like mailgun that don't charge much? Not sure if mailgun are the most privacy-oriented

@brandonWith telegram you can register a bot on your name and have it send the notifications to you. I have done so for zabbix monitoring. There were some instructions on how to do it if you search for zabbix telegram.

@brandon I'm using Pushover for notifications from my monitoring systems. It's quite good.Been thinking about setting up gotify as well, but so far Pushover does what I need. @karmanyaahm

@brandon @karmanyaahm I would use the telegram Bot api. You can have a bot sending you a message (and get notified) with a single curl invokation. No extra code.Check out the bots tutorial, you will be done in less than 10 minutes!

@brandon Mailgun are abuse-ignorant in my experience, as are Mailchimp.
