@the_trunchbull As I have already commented in a different thread, I don’t trust people who are supposedly listening to “female people in LGBTQ+ circles” any more than I trust people who are listening to “people with vaginas”. What we really need to do is permanently separate LGB and TQ+ and not try to reconcile irreconcilable.

@Linnas That’s exactly what I told them. I do think it’s worth writing to people like that who are half-peaked. “Female people” … they’re this close to understanding that women are a distinct class. They’re this close to understanding that the TQ+ is the problem.

@polarisera @Ismat @Linnas @the_trunchbull Honestly we could seriously benefit from support from trauma-informed mental health. There is significant multi-faceted trauma going on in someone who’s facing life-long medical mutilation on top of the homophobia and the problems with re-acclimation after being in a cult and probably losing their entire community.It’s beyond the scope of an average person, even purely in medical terms. We need serious resources to help these women. I am hoping we’ll be able to find mental health support to get them to the right places as our numbers grow.
