@Berco I was just angry because it's GREEN, she's that dumb ass who believes in QANON , & she said gender instead of sex, which is the fucking problem with the bill. It confuses the two. This is hurting the cause.

@MountainSlideMama @Berco To be honest, at this point, if she voted NO against the Equality Act then i fucking love her. I still haven't gotten responses from ANY of my senators or representatives (and I did two states) about it or the feminist amendments. Calling again today but we need all the NO votes we can get.

@Berco Admittedly I think her referring to it as "gender" and not "sex" gave them fodder for calling it "TwAnSpHoBiC!!"They demanded the separation of the two, so IMO it's usually fruitful to play by those rules. If you say there are two "genders" instead of "sexes," trans supporters dismiss it right off the bat and pass it off as "right-wing conservative hate speech."But now they're saying it's the same thing again so who knows 🙃

@Terfest__Shadow I noticed the word gender too, but my thought was it is just used interchangeably by most people, and perhaps being conservative she shies away from the word sex. But agree, it would have been more accurate to have the word sex. Either way the cult screams "transphobic more from the word "two" and "science." They depend on sex being fluid, more fools them.

@tangleofsnakes @thepaltrysum @Berco The only problem is, what does it mean to "ally" ourselves with someone? What does it mean to be someone's ally? For a lot of feminist issues, like gender identity and prostitution/sex trafficking, it's easier to get rightwing or conservative support for legislation that helps those women and girls. Does that mean we're "allying" ourselves with them?I think we need to exist outside of this false republican/democrat dichotomy and just exist FOR women and girls. That's my take, that's just how I work. I don't like either party and both have their ways of enforcing male domination and female subordination, I just want to take the help when I can get it when it comes to actual legislation.

@juneseedI know someone who literally doesn't want to contact her own Representative because the Representative is a Republican.I think it's ridiculous to allow people to keep women and concerned men from coming together for a common cause, as if my opinion on taxes and regulation becomes the same as Rand Paul's just because neither of us thinks that men are women. It's a very convenient thing for the other side to say we shouldn't do, and somehow, many on our side have internalized it.
