@Gelatinousrube Woah!! That is entirely unprofessional. As others said, this would be considered totally inappropriate if a woman did this. I wonder though, do you think the administration will do anything about it -- this is so obviously inappropriate/grooming behaviour, but I wonder if they might accept it because it's under the guise of 'queerness.' @Gelatinousrube @starsstorm @Lilitu "Celebrating queerness" I wonder if they know about the roots of academic queer theory being founded nearly exclusively by pedophiles and pedophile-apologists, and the "grassroots" of the movement was started by men to violate the boundaries of society (both good and bad norms, all norms, including the rejection of pedophilia) and manifesting itself as violating the boundaries/dignity of women and children primarily. "Queer" politics is about feeding the construct of male sexuality (and ego), period. This teacher is very sexually sick and is expressing his sexuality (paraphilias) onto these children, and getting off to the fact that he and the school (authority figures) are allowed to be so "radical" as to violate the normal and healthy boundaries that exist between teachers and students. I'd assume that's also why he asked your daughter so many questions that one time, it is ALL about violation of norms and boundaries.
