@edc_farmerI am well aware of that. I live in a deep blue state. The shutdown is appalling, disgraceful and purely destructive. I have experienced the results directly as all of us have.But we are not in concentration camps.We have to at least try to be precise with language. It is all we have to communicate. @ManuelCerdan1

@timr @edc_farmerPrecise language: This is Korematsu 2.0The court is punting on a crucial civil rights issue the same way it did in Dred Scott, Kelo, etc...The courts and their authority is dead as of today for a good chunk of Americans. That is what this speaks. In our hour of need, they turned their back. I am glad this happened. I knew this was always true about them. I knew they would do this again.

@timr @ManuelCerdan1 @edc_farmer I think you might be underestimating the lunacy of these people, the kind who believe that Twitter is real life.However, I must admit that the "court packing" plan certainly doesn't seem to have come up at all lately, and doesn't seem at all likely to be attempted in the near or immediate future, so I will concede you that point.
