@ethot I wasn't thrilled about the idea of watching Hawaiian space Elvis but you get over it quick. Season 1 is funny but season 2 is something different entirely.

@ethot Not much, honestly. I don't have any subscription service or cable or anything like that so I only watch things that I actively seek out. AOT got me back into watching anime in the last few years. I binge watch anime lately. I really dig Star Trek but I fucking hate Discovery. Picard was good overall.

@ethot It's hard to nail it down. I just like what I like. I have thousands and thousands of albums. I only buy physical media. Two of my all time favorites are Bjork and the Afghan Whigs. I'm really into Little Dragon right now. I like Neil Young, Roxy Music, Bowie, a lot of Motown stuff... so many it would be monotonous to name them all. Don't really like too much rap.

@alcade @ethot @OldHag DS9 had the best acting tho, and Sisko was pretty good.Voyager had really well done storylines.But yes, Picard is the Captain...rest of the crew was lacklustre compared to other crews of other shows.

According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia a Galaxy class starship could fire ten photon torpedoes from both its fore and aft launchers simultaneously and target each one independently. Yet in each battle the Enterprise ever fought they get hammered while lobbing only a handful of torpedoes and offering some desultory phaser fire.
