Oh hey, I just noticed a nice UI feature of Firefox. It normally hides the top bookmarks toolbar, to give one more viewing space, but in a new tab it makes it visible. This is one of 3 options: show, hide, or show on new tab.I already use the new tab as a springboard to go to commonly used sites, so this fits my use case perfectly.

@urusan as someone who uses the keyboard shortcut to open a new tab, I find that typing in my bookmarks and using the autocomplete is the most efficient way for me.

@urusan as far as I know, that was introduced with an recent update :)Still irritates me. Thanks for the hint. Will check where I can turn it off.

@daniels Right click either on the bookmarks toolbar or a part of the main toolbar with nothing on it. There should be a "Bookmark Toolbar >" option with a dropdown containing the options. It also informs me that CTRL+SHIFT+B will turn it off (and after turning it off, turns it fully on when repeated).
