Now, the impeachment managers are very well aware they have no case. This is why they are hinting at 'explosive new evidence' they've held back that they will drop only during the trial. But it's hard to see how any new evidence would negate the already available public evidence, especially the evidence that the groups involved in the Capitol Bldg assault planned it days in advance, weren't at the Ellipse for Trump's speech and didn't hear it.

And these groups had begun their assault before Trump had finished speaking, which means the mob that went into the Capitol Bldg. cannot be the same people that heard Trump at the Ellipse. I have been to DC. It takes about 40 minutes on foot to walk from the Ellipse to the Capitol Blg. The timeline simply does not work.

@Clydeohscope VERY GOOD POINT. There was NO CELL PHONE RECEPTION in the area because of the massive crowds. I also experienced this in the November "March for 45", how absolutely futile it was to try to use your phone even to send a simple text message, much less stream video or audio.

@drawandstrike @Clydeohscope None of us had any service the entire day. We were getting text messages from friends and family and had no idea what they were talking about. We didnāt know what was going on at the Capitol until we had service on the metro on our way home and could check social media.
