It was a beautiful sunny 28°F in London this morning and my windshield had a good coat of frost on it. I was quite happy to see that the duct tape patch is still doing it's job.

@Dubby My Dad never left home without it. He gave me a roll to keep in my first car, and a roll as a "housewarming" gag gift.

@Dubby @Give_Me_Liberty we called in 100mph tape in the Army. I'm told they used to repair bullet holes in helicopter rotors with it -- thus the name. also suspect the Army would cease to function without it.

@wziminer @Dubby I've held cuts together with superglue. It burns like hell, but it works.

@Give_Me_Liberty One of the first surgical glues was developed because of that trick. It works like a charm. The first surgical glue was called Dermabond, developed about 20 years ago. Great stuff. Once the surgeons got used to it, they used it to close everything they could, and didn't need to remove stitches. Win-win. @Dubby
