#pinephone Manjaro KDEWhen looking at this dir https://kdebuild.manjaro.org/images/ I'm guessing review is the more stable and dev is the nightly? I'm taking dev anyhow though...I'm hoping this will cure my kde connect stability problem, which happens only between the pinephone and the pc. pc <-> android is perfect. Android <-> pinephone is perfect. PC <--> pinephone I sometimes get a pairing and it works, but soon loses the connection and I have to unpair/pair to get it back again. Very weird.

@gemlog I haven't had any BT weirdness for years. I had a BT keyboard that I used with my N810. It would pair initially, no problem. Then, after 20 mins, or so, it would lose the connection. I would have to re-pair, but it would always take about 5 attempts. I never discovered why. It only ever happened with that one particular brand of keyboard and the N810.

@fitheach It's a similar idea, but kde connect pairs over wifi, not BT. This makes it extra weird why it doesn't work well - but only between those two devices.

@gemlog Not being a KDE user the name didn't mean anything to me. Reading their webpage it sounds very cool.

@fitheach It absolutely is! :-) I use it all the time and for years now. There is a gnome version that implements the kde connect protocol too, but I've never had reason to try it. It's pointed to on the d/l page of kde connect I believe.

@gemlog I'm not a Gnome user, either. Xfce, through and through (except for the new ElitePad, where I'm using LXQt).I'm very old-school when connecting to other computers, I do everything with SSH tunnels, and on the command line.

@fitheach ah yes. Then any qt libs are already handy - I mix and match apps using qt/gtk all the time myself.
