       When is NVIDIA gonna get 30 series cards regularly available? I've been wanting a 3080 or 3090 for a while now. Of course I need AMD to get some Ryzen 9 5950s in stock too...

       @logrus1 Why not go with AMD for the graphics as well and throw out the proprietary drivers? :)

       @hund @logrus1 I can't find those locally for a good price either. The home machine is due for a refresh, the Intel 2600k/Geforce 970 are getting rather old...

       @logrus1 @hund Ya, the studio machine has a Ryzen 7 1800x and Radeon 580. Very different experiences. But for it's age, the slower box (circa 2011) holds up pretty damn well. It just needs to hold on a little bit longer...
