       I think it's important to acknowledge that Mitch McConnell did Trump a huge favor by placing the Senate into recess and scheduling pro-forma sessions until 1/19. Impeachment is now impossible until after inauguration day and the Senate can still act prior to Biden's swearing in.He didn't have to do that.  If he wanted to screw Trump, he could have kept the Senate in session, or placed it into recess until the 20th or after.  Instead he gave Trump the maximum amount of protection he could.

       @Johnschulien People seem to forget that Republican senators would handsomely benefit from the disemboweling of the corporate left. Why wouldn't many of them be collaborating with Trump, one way or another? McConnell would be involved at nearly the highest level of a counter-play.

       @PathIntegral @Johnschulien Astute.Amidst this period of INTENSE strategic disinformation while "patriots" are trashing yesterday's  GOP "heroes"....I would bet that most honest folks can name a dozen D.C. GOP-ers that  have helped  make America better over the last four years.Democrats?....not so much

       @Johnschulien I think the plan is for Trump to reveal his evidence, let everyone digest it for a few days, and then have Congress meet on January 19 and certify Trump the winner.Since we're talking the worst criminal operation in American history, Congress will certify Trump in record time.AND.Fixing Biden's wagon one day before he would've been inaugurated is VERY satisfying.Trump will have a private inauguration NOT in front of the Capitol building.
