@WeThePeople @REX Wood, Powell and Guilani were NEVER going to convince a court to accept their charges. No judge would ever volunteer to let them detonate a political nuclear weapon in their courtroom. Presenting Guilani as Trump's lawyer was misdirection. His job was to convince the public, not to convince judges. Trump's enemies never quite understood this and this allowed Guiliani to successfully carry out his mission.

Having listened to the entire one hour phone call, I think that Trump just confirmed that there was a high quality sting operation video made of the pull-out-the-ballots-from-under-the-table incident in addition to the grainy surveillance camera video that we've all seen. 22:13 "We have a new tape we're going to release. It's devastating." 22:40 "We have a version that you haven't seen. It's magnified and you can see everything."Anyone want to take bets that the surprise tape has audio?

@REX He just posted another tweet two minutes ago, so unless Twitter is forging his tweets, which would be a whole new level of criminality, I think that Trump is back after his 12 hour ban.

THREAD There's something about the Ashli Babbet story that's off, and I think I see it. If she was some ditzy moron who got caught up in the excitement of the moment, that would be one thing. But she is an Air Force veteran, steeped for years in military culture. It makes no sense that she, of all people, would be sucked into that particular crowd of idiots. So what was she doing there?

Time and time again Thomas Wictor has shown us videos of antifa infiltrators. People who blend into the crowds of antifa rioters but suddenly spring into action to protect Trump supporters who are knocked to the ground by antifa thugs and about to be killed. Thomas has convincingly identified them as retired Federal law enforcement and retired military.

There is no doubt in my mind that as the antifa invasion team was gathering up to stage their break-in to the Capitol building, there would been an effort made to slip some undercover agents into the mix. To keep an eye on what the invaders were doing and saying, and to be there in case things got really out of hand.

What was Babbitt doing when she was killed? She was directly in front of the door to the House chamber, BLOCKING THE DOOR.She was killed from the INSIDE of the chamber, in a situation where she posed absolutely no threat to the people inside the chamber. SHE WAS KILLED AFTER PLACING HER BODY BETWEEN THE RIOTERS AND THE SMASHED WINDOW OF THE HOUSE CHAMBER DOOR. People are casually calling her a martyr. She may be more of a martyr than people realize.

@StevenDouglas I interpreted the video as showing her blocking the window with her body. If she was launching herself through the window, I would expect her body to end up either on the inside of the chamber or slumped over the bottom of the window opening in the door. After she was shot. She fell straight backwards, which implies to me that she was not on the process of passing through the window opening. But I could be wrong. I will reexamine the video when I get home.

I think it's important to acknowledge that Mitch McConnell did Trump a huge favor by placing the Senate into recess and scheduling pro-forma sessions until 1/19. Impeachment is now impossible until after inauguration day and the Senate can still act prior to Biden's swearing in.He didn't have to do that. If he wanted to screw Trump, he could have kept the Senate in session, or placed it into recess until the 20th or after. Instead he gave Trump the maximum amount of protection he could.

@REX It would be magnificent if Trump were to use his own impeachment trial to release all the evidence of Congress' corruption!

@ThomasWic I thought that Trump made people who were working for him on sensitive matters sign NDAs. If These sources never signed NDAs and were left free to blab about what they had worked on, then my sense is that they were probably decoys.

@seeker @StevenDouglas @Debradelai With all due respect, none of these are counterexamples. Washington, Jefferson and Adams were citizens of the United States at the time of the adoption of the Constitution, as specified in the eligibility clause, and both of Donald Trump's parents were citizens at the time of his birth in 1946, his mother having been naturalized in 1942.

@darulharb All agreed and true, but my question is very specific. Does the "born or naturalized" clause secure a certain unalienable right (as declared in the Declaration of Independence) to citizenship, or is it simply intended to cement a policy into the Constitution to make it difficult for future politicians to remove or alter?

I followed @ThomasWic advice a while back and ordered a breathable mesh mask. The kind with exhalation vents. It came with three thick activated carbon filters. If you don't use the filters, air just passes right through the black fabric like it isn't even there and no one can tell. It doesn't even make my face warm. I live in Chicago which has a mask mandate that imposes penalties on the business owner if their customers aren't masked so not using a mask when shopping isn't an option.

@AmareVita It's black and completely opaque. There's no reason anyone would question it.

@timr @HectorHeathcote @pamby1 @EarlThePearls @watch4thedrop Most weekdays I make a homemade Sausage Mc Muffin for breakfast. English muffin, a sausage patty and a slice of American cheese. Last time I checked the cost of the three ingredients from the grocery was almost exactly the same as the cost of buying it made to order at McDonalds, which I thought was interesting.

@StevenDouglas Steven, Welcome to the implant club! Implants are one of the great medical miracles of our era. I've been through it myself. All my front upper teeth are implants. I had five done in 2000 and one more done just last year. They feel just like regular teeth. I hope your results are as good as mine! Do you have to wait for the implants to heal before they screw in the teeth, or do you have the teeth installed already?

@StevenDouglasI'm very happy for you. What most surprised me was the turbo-charged psychological boost I felt the day I had the appliance installed. I think that the importance of our teeth are hard-wired into our psyche in deep ways that I didn't appreciate or understand until I lost them for a while and then effectively got them back when the appliance was permanently installed. I experienced an outsized feeling of being restored. I hope it is as uplifting for you as it was for me!
