       Collective NDEIt is at times like this that people show their real character and what they are made of. Last year I used the term "the collective Dark Night of the Soul (DNS)" to describe what we were collectively going through. Then, this week I heard someone use the term "(collective) Near Death Experience (NDE)". After January 6, NDE is a more apt expression than DNS.

       On November 3, 2020, the Democracy (the process) died, and since, the Constitutional Republic (the system) died a slow death for two months, reaching the final death on January 6, 2021. We are now in what the Buddhists call a Bardo in classical Tibetan (中有/chūu in Japanese, meaning “middle existence” between death and rebirth), collectively having a NDE.

       The content of the experience differs from one person to another, and we each has a choice. Some will become transformed to be a greater and stronger character, while for some, (spiritual-intellectual) death will no longer be just near.
