I did a small idle power consumption experiment with my #pinephone (PCB 1.2b). I used #plasmamobile on #pmos with all radios turned off.Starting from a charge with 86% it lasted more than 4 days. Not surprisingly, the device's case remained cool during this time.Although this is not as good as what you get from most Android devices (such as my Galaxy S3 running #replicant), I'm still very impressed about this progress. Many thanks to all who contributed to make this a reality!

@kuleszdl Did it actually turn the radios off?I found at the very least that with my Pinephone PMOS with the default Phosh UI turning bluetooth in the UI off leaves the bluetooth service running and vice versa.

@murks Thank you for the hint - I didn't actually check this. However, I disabled the modem using the killswitch but didn't do the same for wifi and bluetooth.Do you think it's worth a second try after disabling bluetooth/wifi via killswitch?

@kuleszdl Also regarding kill switches. Someone around here mentioned a while ago that some of those kill switches on the pinephone are actually implemented in software. So maybe there's more that can be turned off. I have no idea.On a side note, how daily driver ready is Plasma Mobile?

@murks I've read that too about the kill switches. And well, it seems usable I'd say but I didn't really play around much with it yet. In retrospective, compared to around one year ago when I tried it on a Nexus 5 the difference is like day and night.

@martijnbraam @kuleszdl A while ago someone posted that not the switches themselves of course but some of their functionality is implemented in software. I'll try to find it.
