@Gina Lemmy is both really fine and quite not there yet about replacing Reddit, especially if you want to escape large instances since federation is barely out of alpha.Still, it runs fine. I have been using an account on a small instance for a couple weeks and following communities on other instances, mostly lemmy.ml, with decent satisfaction :0

@normandc That's a great idea. I've always wanted to do a 3d printer community in the Fediverse. Lemmy with it's community approach is more suited for that than Mastodon.@Gina
