       @chjara Like it or not, C has had a large influence on almost every major language that came after it. Many of its flaws have also propagated through successive languages, unfortunately. Despite this, I think it's a pretty neat language and has better aesthetic style than Rust or Go. It might not be the best choice for industry-standard projects anymore, but it's still super useful for small and portable things -- oftentimes even better than C++.
