Let's say Cruz argues for TX before the Supreme Court.Let's say the suit is successful, and the fraudulent votes are removed, and Trump wins 2nd term.Doesn't this improve chances for Cruz to be the GOP presidential nominee in 2024?His once-annoying pedantry may be seen as an asset - if it was part of his arsenal in one of the most important court cases in US history.

@karnage Cruz is a good man. But, he's not natural born. He is ineligible to be President. He should stay in the Senate or be put on the Supreme Court. He is eligible for both of those. I will not vote for him to be President because he is simply ineligible.

@karnage Yeah, I called this as soon as they reached out to him on the initial PA case that may still be part of this.If the story i'm hearing that trump asked him personally to present arguments now, then it's a coronation for 2024.I would like to see some more info on his eligibility though. I know McCain's was also in doubt.I personally have a problem with the natural-born idea and how it's interpreted from the Constitution. But i'm open to discussion on it.

@karnage my respect for Cruz rose to great levels after he brushed aside the 2016 campaign insults & was one of the first backers of Trump when he won

@BiggDoggDaddy Nonsense. He's constitutionally eligible, but just not personality-eligible./

@karnage It's reported by the NY Times and is "according to a person familiar with the discussion."So it doesn't count for shit yet.

@RikkiTikkiTavi Yes, Cruz made a very practical and prudent decision to separate Trump's rhetoric from his reality.

@darulharb No! Not nonsense! Natural Born has nothing to do with where you are born. It has everything to do with your parents AT THE TIME OF YOUR BIRTH. If you have both parents as either natural born or naturalized AT THE TIME OF YOUR BIRTH, then you are natural born. By "nature". He cannot say that and it can be proven that he is not by nature an American. And one parent is not enough, it has to be both. This definition was known to the founders and they knew what they were saying.

@BiggDoggDaddy Oh, I didn't know Cruz was ineligible to serve as President.Yet he ran in 2016? Strange.
