@redwhitebluedude At this point, 10 days takes us to end of year. End of current Congress.New Congress is not seated until 1/3, I believe, and they may be busier then. They've been limping along with short term continuation bills to keep gov't open.I dont know how or why, but if anybody could dream up a scenario where this situation could be used to force Congress to do something right, it's Trump.We've all been hyperfocused on electoral law - did we miss another angle entirely? Did they?

@redwhitebluedude That's for conviction. arrest comes first, then trial, then conviction. A1S6 that I excerpted above is only talking about arrest, and for felony other than treason, as well. Regardless, I expect that if you're going to arrest someone for treason, you will have your ducks in a row and ready to go.

@redwhitebluedude Oh, they'll still technically be in office after the arrest, but it's hard to cast your vote when you're not on the floor. And they can complain later that it was an unlawful arrest, but the timing will have passed.Just a thought experiment. I doubt this will be done.

So I've been deep diving into the Patrick Byrne stuff. The meeting, his report of what was said and how the President responded to many things.I am left with this logical breakdown:1 - He's lying. 1a - for his own ends. I don't believe this b/c I don't see his upside here, and i find him credible overall, and Flynn, Powell, Rudy or DJT have not rebuffed him, and in fact Flynn, retweeted Beanz's interview with Byrne. 1b - as part of the plan... 1ba - intentionally..../1

This is important because he lays out a lot of things which seem concerning. Most concerning is that POTUS seems to still be looking for a plan. And is relying on White House Counsel to give him one. Also, he talks about how terribly nice Trump is and that he's unwilling to fire people obviously undercutting him. This is where this falls apart for me. Can I believe DJT is nicer than he is shown to be by MSM. Absolutely. Can I believe he meekly accepts Pat's BS? No. That the man made famous ../3

So it's not their personal power they are exercising, it's the accumulated power of decades of cultural undercutting. @whernandez Yes, they are.Just because you are a morally good person who would not stomp on his opponent after winning, doesn't mean they are the same as you.This is the problem. Our people have denied that the enemy they are fighting is different from them. That is why when we have won, it was not the same, as when they won.They have never been tied down by playing fair or having morals. You may think this makes you better, morally. And it does. But it also disadvantages us.
