       I just learned on #SciFri that #canada ordered 5 times as much of the various vaccines as we need to vaccinate our entire population. (The USA ordered 3x and the UK 2x)Why so much ? Isnt that just going to make it harder for third world nations to get any ?

       @mathuin AFAIK there is no overordering save for the margin they want to keep due to potential mishandling of the vaccines at any point in the distribution cycle
