I'm considering switching away from #mu4e to #aerc (or maybe back to #mutt)I don't really have any *complaints* about #mu4e – at least none that I can point to. But I somehow keep finding myself using my webmail client, which seems like a sign that I haven't found the right setup.

@codesections I use mu4e when I need to search for mails, or when I'm only reading my main inbox, but it's frequently a pain to try to do anything else in it. It's worse for reading mailing lists than Gnus, and it's worse for dealing with html emails than my self-hosted webmail.

@gcupc > and it's worse for dealing with html emails than my self-hosted webmail.Out of curiosity, what do you use for self-hosted webmail? My webmail is the migadu-hosted one, which is just a slightly reskinned version of RainLoop. It's … ok, I guess, but nothing I've ever been excited about

@codesections I use RainLoop, too. It's okay; sometimes you need to have webmail, this fallen world being what it is. I have run RoundCube, but not in a long time.

@codesections interesting. I’ve been a mu4e fan for awhile, mainly for the searching.
