       @jill @chrisba I assume we're talking about general local and/or world news?You should really consider the possibility that there's really no need to watch the news at all. It doesn't really add any value to your life to begin with, it only make you feel worse and hopeless. Spend your time and energy on things that matters and makes a difference for you and those around you.I haven't watched the news for the past 15-20 years and it has improved my health a lot!

       @hund @chrisba I see your point and it sound legit.Still, I would feel disconnected to the world if not watching the news and following what is going on worldwide or locally. I somehow think it's our "duty" as citizen and people of a community to be informed.

       @jill @chrisba To be informed about what? Trump telling people to drink hand sanitizer and some religious group blowing up a public place and killing a bunch of people in a country across the world? I'm what way is it my duty to be informed about that? What value does those news give me?If it's important news and something that's relevant for me, then I will get to hear about them some other way.

       @hund @jill I agree with your two point of view. I sometime stop reading news for a few days and indeed my humor seems to improve.Problem is that if you are involved in the life of your country/city, you need to be aware of what's happening.
