@emanuel Yeah, I just saw you kindly put the source code for the site on github, so thanks for that. So now at least two of my favorite site designs are from fosstodon people, yours and the blog by @kev. Two very different designs, both very nicely done.

@jrdmb @kevYeh, @kev's design is really nice and he's a great blogger too. I got a few ideas from him. In fact, my last redesign was triggered by this post from him: https://kevq.uk/whats-in-a-font-researching-website-typography/You may haven't notice yet, a few days back I migrated the source code to Codeberg. Nevertheless, I will most certainly keep the GitHub repository as a mirror. Just to let you know that the official and most updated place where you can found the source code is now on https://codeberg.org/emanuelpina/emanuelpina.pt

@emanuel @kev Yeah, really good post by Kev on typography, definitely one I've bookmarked for reference. (aside: I hope his fish are doing ok, haven't seen any recent posts about them). Thanks for mentioning about the migration to Codeberg, I didn't know about that. Something I'd like to mention that I didn't think to include earlier - your use of color on your blog is really striking. Congrats on just a super job.

@jrdmb @emanuel yours both too kind, thank you so much.Fish are doing great. I just got a new fish actually, one that I’ve been after for like 3 years, but they’re really rare here in the UK. A fire eel.

@kev @emanuel Nice to hear they're doing well. The new fire eel coexists in the same tank as the Oscar(s)? Photos? 😀

@jrdmb @emanuel ah, it’s been that long since I updated about the fish...wow.Ok, so I rehomed one oscar and the other passed away unfortunately. The tank is now a South American cichlid tank mostly. Yep, fire eel is in with them and doing great. No aggression etc. on either side.I do, however, currently have a green terror and electric blue acara currently fighting for top dog. As the GT grows larger than the acara, I think she will be top dog in the end.

@kev @emanuel Oh, was that Betty that passed? Sorry to hear that, do you think it was from her injuries inflicted by the other oscar?Cheers, and thanks for the updates.

@jrdmb @emanuel yeah, poor old Betty. I think it was a combination of the stress of her injuries and subsequently losing her partner. On there plus side, the other guy is very happy in his new home.
