Wowee, either my account here is shadowbanned, or:nobody knows what 'kizis need voot' meansandI am the only one who has trouble calming anxious people on the internet, and no resources on how to do so are publicly available, or I am the scapegoat-magnet for anxious people, so you all can consort with people who don't think family deaths, your dying partner, and your needed surgery to remove a growth that looked malignant are just you being narcissistic.

@cosullivan I'm confused. Where do you mean by 'here'? I see everything you post on mastodon. At least, I think I do.

@cosullivan I don't *know* what it means, but I'd guess Kiz is feeling the need to watch (or subscribe to) voot.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VootAs to the rest... not quite sure why it's your job to calm anxious people. If they want to be anxious, let 'em have at it.

@twovoyagers I foolishly believed that anxious people secretly wanted a calm person gently correcting their perceptions with facts and reality, e.g. "your email client somehow has hidden my messages to you, I can screenshot them and mail them to a secondary account." They accuse me of actions and statements easily refuted. Then they block me because I don't follow a "there there the moon really is of green cheese and 2+2=5. Why ever did I believe differently" script.

@cosullivan Firstly, I have no idea what that phrase would mean, so why would I respond to a question about it? That would only lower your signal-to-noise ratio.Secondly, I don't believe there is any constructive way of dealing with irrational anxious people who contact you at random on-line. They're like UFO cultists. The safest thing to do is ignore them. Again I cannot make a responsive answer. If you ask a question, & nobody answers it, best to suppose nobody has an answer.
