@brandon It'll be a personal blog, so tech, movies and music mixed together!I'm gonna be honest, I'm so in love with Rust, I'm basically a guy with a hammer in search of a nail. Once I'm more fluent, I'll be diving into back-end web dev. It's an area that Rust is quickly gaining traction, with multiple frameworks looking amazing.

@mcol Someone else was looking for a source of daily vim tips, and I thought "hmm, maybe promptodon could be more than just daily journal prompts"So basically if you want to post any sort of daily message, and also have that account be able to reply on command with a similar message, that's what this would be forWith promptodon it's daily journal prompts and will send you a prompt with the /prompt command. The vim tip bot would be daily vim tips and /vimtip as a command and so on

@mcol Oh, and all the statuses you want to have the bot pick from can be housed in a txt file with each potential status being put on a newline, super easy. Here's the repo btw: https://github.com/BNolet/postodon

@brandon Yeah that is what I pictured earlier, that the timer might have actions, one being to send the toot, and another might be to let you know to edit it (e.g. a toot prompt for the day) and then you post it yourself. I suppose lots of these uses might be useful

@brandon Kind of. It does a basic catalog function, sure, but you can also get information about upcoming events in the game (birthdays, holidays, etc). It’s really useful to see what kind of collectables are available during this time of year, how to get other thing… like a portable digital players guide. Here’s mine. I haven’t played much this week, so it’s a little empty for this week.

That might be it. Sunday evening here and the last part is crawling under the house with cat6, which I am about to do now 🤔
