@sir 🤔 my point of view:At least Matrix syncs with all my devices, is readily available on all the leading platforms, has notifications if I want......like, stop living in the dark ages?I don’t have a desk job and am not logged into irc all the time. That makes it useless for chat. I have to use slash commands to do anything? Who does that anymore...Also... are you OK man? If you need to talk we’re here, sounds like some shit has you down maybe.

@angristan ohhhh how do you find the XT4? I tried a pre-production on at a Fujifilm event and OMG the autofocus blew me away. I really want one as an upgrade from my Lumix stuff, but the XT3 is like half the price and I'd rather spend $$$ on glass instead 😞

@brandon unifi AP install, crawling under house running cat6, chainsaw down last if the manageable trees before the exciters come to do the difficult ones, sold kids old bunk beds, shopping with said kids for stuff for their mum’s birthday this week, new top for my committee desk from hardware store and fit to said desk. That might be it. Sunday evening here and the last part is crawling under the house with cat6, which I am about to do now 🤔

@brandon oh, I just ran a cable up from the floor, and the AP it screwed to the wall. I’d like to hang it on the ceiling but need to work out where to get the cat6 from the floor to the ceiling in a cupboard or inside a wall. 1959 house 😆

Been catching up on 2.05 Admins podcast (nice name @popey), and man it’s good. Short and sweet and packed with enough info to get me thinking. For example; the clarity on where btrfs falls over was bloody interesting, and made complete sense.

I have decided I don't have time for :void: sadly. I love it, but at this point in my life I just need a minimal tiling distro that "just works".I tried Pop!_OS and am not a fan of gnome, even with tiling.So I guess I'll stick with :manjaro: i3 like I already use on my laptop. 🤷 #linux #manjaro #i3

@kev I’ve had many a great useful idea then seen someone make it (poorly, often) a couple of years later. 😕I guess that when I should pitch for funding and pay someone to do it. And work out how to release as GPL or something and still make some $ off it as the ideas guy 😆
